Mixing clean linens and bohemian style is the perfect combination for this interior design client. A rattan hanging chair and live edge desk are some of our favorites.

I am sharing the pieces for another one of my favorite e-design projects! This one was for a client in Nashville, TN who has converted a barn into their family home. Their reclaimed wood floors and white pitched ceilings create the perfect contrast to a bohemian eclectic design. The client asked to keep the space feeling natural with some edge for their home office and I think it’s safe to say we gave them just that in this Eclectic Farmhouse project.

The client is in international business development and liked the idea of keeping the majority of the space calming and clean-lined but also wished to have a piece or some artwork that added a funk or “edge.” After initial introductions with the client I was instantly had the design in my head! We were going to blend natural elements with a clean and bright elements.

When beginning their design I liked the idea of taking the roots of their home and of Nashville and blending it with their international work and more modern style.

Once I found the perfect inspiration to capture the vibe I was looking for with this client I created a floor plan and started making furniture selections. Below you will find the product images and links to purchase. I wanted to keep things light and airy but give them that bohemian edge they were looking for. We brought in a natural element with a live edge desk and a rattan hanging chair. Pairing it with a white linen desk chair and lighter art keeps things simple.  And of course the bright teal console is the funk factor the client was looking for (the clean lines of this piece still make it cohesive with the rest of the design). We think this is the perfect Eclectic Farmhouse combination.
