Merry Christmas y’all! We have a lot of holiday spirit on the blog this week. So many of you loved my posts on Instagram of my tree and holiday decorations I figured I would share more of these spaces with you. Now my apartments isn’t very big and I don’t have a traditional fireplace to hang stockings, but I made it work. For more holiday decor ideas check out my post on Christmas Table Settings.
I used my old vintage windows around my media console to hang some garland, lights, and my stocking. I love how this space came out. It feels so festive and I love at night when all the lights are on. Old windows are a great way to create a mantle like feel for those of you like me who either live in an apartment or don’t have a fireplace.
Ive always had a real tree, even when I was in school I made sure to have some kind of a real tree. You just can’t beat the smell. I made my burlap tree skirt a few years back, you can see the step by step on my Pinterest. Ive never been one to have a themed tree or decorations, but Ive also always shared the tree with a roommate or two. Since all of my ornaments are ones my Nanie made or I was gifted, I was definitely going to need a few additional ornaments this year. I decided to keep things classic and simple going with white and neutral tones.
